Pretty Pastels
Flirty, fun and fresh - the new pastels in season are popping up everywhere for women of all ages. The sorbet hues are perfectly ladylike to rock just about anywhere and will even impress your boyfriend's mum ;) If you're over the age of 25, add a little structure to make it not look like a children's cartoon - a blazer or sleek pump heel will do the trick. Pastels go perfectly with white, so even though it's after Labor Day, be a little rebel whilst looking sweet as pie.
Keep your makeup fresh and minimal, a light flush on the cheeks, some lipgloss and a lick of mascara is all you need. Feel free to sweep your hair into a retro-inspired up-do or add some volume with clip in extensions to get that 'Just Stepped Out of a Commercial" look.
