Steal my Style: Red Carpet for Luli Fama
I really, really wanted to book the Luli Fama show and the Beach Bunny show this year for Swim Week!!Sadly, it wasn't meant to be, but I was invited to be a VIP guest on the red carpet.
This is a little bit of a different look for me, because I don't often have that many events to go to, but I'd love to do more! Getting dressed up is so much fun and I love to represent the brands I work with.
I did end up doing an interview with the Miami New Times about swim week, Miami in general and my outfit for the night, but I can't for the life of me find it! So if you see it somewhere, please tag me :)
Here's how to steal my Red Carpet Look.
Hair: It was straight when I left the house. Then Florida's humidity happened lol. But it's kinda cool a little roughed up and tousled.
Makeup: Mostly bronzy tones using Nars Laguna Bronzer and Blush in Orgasm, Mac Eyeshadows, with a double black and blue liner using Maybelline's Master Precise Pen (it's like a felt tip pen, makes it so much easier) and this awesome $2 turquoise eyeliner from NYX for a pop of colour! I finished with a couple of coats of Benefit's They're Real! Mascara and added oomph with SocialEyes Cruelty-Free Lashes in Glamorous! To keep the look summery, I added It Cosmetics Highlighter to the top of my cheekbones, just under the brow bone, the inner corner of my eye and just above my cupid's bow. Learning to contour and highlight your face will make such a difference to your look! I finished it off with a coral-nude (depending on how tanned I am) lip, using Estee Lauder's Pure Colour Crystal Lipstick in Crystal Sun. On my nails I painted my favorite ever-changing polish from Chanel in Quartz. One coat and it looks metallic beige. Two coats changes it to grey/silver and 3 coats gunmetal grey. It's really versatile and adds a little edge.
The digital print on the skirt is really unusual, but this style is starting to pop up everywhere and I love the vibrant colours. People were complimenting me on my outfit all night!! Because the skirt and the boots were so bold, I decided to keep the crop top simple, this one is from Kookai Australia. And the hand-finished jewellery from Svelte Metals, in different textures and widths, polished off the look nicely whilst still keeping it chic and modern.
